A PhD candidate in Chemistry and Structural Biology at the Institut Pasteur. Chiara has fun mixing colorful substances and making quite spectacular chemical reactions (which she admits makes her sometimes feel like Seamus Finningan from Harry Potter). She works with aptamers, sort of novel and cool DNA drugs, and admires Sir Chris Dobson, a great contributor to the field of neurodegenerative diseases. She strongly believes that science has a real impact on society when its potential is not overlooked and hopes that her work will make a difference. Chiara is also part of the core Piplettes team.
