Manon

A PhD candidate in Genome and Genetic Department, Plasticity of Bacterial Genome Unit at the Institut Pasteur. Manon enjoys the unexpected that comes with every day in science and she could not go on a day of research without her music. She is working on curing her “difficulties to properly explain things” by, well, actively explaining them alongside her scientific research. Manon dreams of discovering a new magical antibiotic with super efficiency and no resistance. Her favorite scientist is in fact her mom, being able to prepare meals with every random ingredient in the fridge should not be underestimated. In her free time, Manon loves to watch the TV series Brooklyn 99 or read one of her favourite books The Catcher In the Rye by J. D. Sallinger.
