A PhD candidate in Mathematical Modelling and Infectious Diseases at the Institut Pasteur. Maylis believes that science is all about freedom and endless discoveries. To better understand the spread of infectious diseases, Maylis is developing a multifaceted model that integrates epidemiological, evolutionary, and immunological processes. Her interests span from the work of the great statistician David Spiegelhalter to the classic Virgina Woolf book, “Mrs Dalloway.” Maylis’ work depends on her laptop, but also on her tea selections. She is driven by the curiosity of people for science.
