Olivier

A PhD candidate at the Laboratory for Biological Engineering (Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering, ETH Zürich) As a scientist, Olivier is constantly reminded of the beauty and magnitude of nature. Communicating his research is driven by the many societal implications of the work he conducts. Understanding this work is therefore key to allowing people to make more informed decisions. Olivier dreams to discover alien DNA and likes paradoxes. In his free time, Olivier plays bass in the band Monoatomic God or reads his favourite book Dune by American author Frank Herbert (because no one else combines science, politics and giant worms better).
