Silvia is a PhD candidate in the Epigenetics and Cell Fate Unit of EDC institute at the Université Paris Cité. She was inspired to start science communication thanks to a quote by 2002 Chemistry Nobel Prize laureate John Fenn: “We taught elephants to fly.” He was speaking about his incredible technique but she believes it’s also what science does and it would be a shame to not share it with the public!
