A PhD candidate working on vibrational spectroscopy and liver cirrhosis, BioSpecT, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. Julien believes that there is no point in writing a thesis that only you can understand, he adds that “Science is made to be shared, and the world would be a better place if everyone was more interested in how things work”. His favourite scientist is Nikola Tesla, because of his timeless inventions. Without being a means of profit, his discoveries shaped our modern world and his name became a cool car brand name. Julien likes the word serendipity, which means an unplanned fortunate discovery. His favourite TV show is without question “Lost”.
